GZU was also honored with the “Excellent School Organization Award,” marking its most successful participation to date.

At the opening ceremony of the competition, Professor Hu Yao was invited to take an oath on behalf all judges.

During the closing ceremony, Zhang Jie delivered a speech as the designated host school for the 2025 competition, after receiving the competition flag. She emphasized GZU’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, focusing on cultivating an initiative spirit and high ethical standards. She also underscored the importance of facilitating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to enhance career opportunities for students. GZU plans to implement supportive policies, improve systems, and build platforms to encourage the integration of industry and innovation. As the host university for the 2025 Competition, GZU aims to draw on the successful experiences of previous hosts to provide efficient services and create a passionate competition atmosphere, leveraging its strengths and strategic planning to build a strong team.

The competition, hosted by the Commerce Statistical Society of China and recognized by the China Association of Higher Education as an outstanding project (ranked 20th in the “2024 National College Student Competition Analysis Report”), attracted 392 schools with 4,716 graduate-level teams. After rigorous competition, 150 teams reached the national final defense stage.
