On March 8, the Trade Union of Guizhou University (GZU) organized a "Colors of Love" Lipstick DIY event on the West Campus to celebrate the International Women's Day and to enrich the life of its female staff. Yang Wei and Luo Changjiang, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of CPC GZU Party Committee were present at the event.
During the event, Yang Xuqin, a teacher from College of Tourism and Culture Industry and President of Guizhou Etiquette Society, delivered a lecture on the history, economic impact and colors of lipstick, and the art of making lipstick. After that, GZU Student lecture troupe put on a poetry recital titled "To Unfold Women's Brilliance in the New Era," which highlights the elegance and strength of contemporary women. Following this, Yan Xia, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guizhou Etiquette Society, performed a captivating tea dance that merged traditional tea culture with the art of dance, depicting a harmonious and beautiful society.
Yang Wei conveyed warm holiday greetings and heartfelt wishes to all the female staff on behalf of the university. She recognized and praised their invaluable contributions, describing them as the backbone of the university's development with their remarkable strength, charm, and wisdom. Yang wished them all a joyful holiday, and encouraged them to keep their dreams alive and continue to excel in every endeavor.
