On March 3, four distinguished representatives from Guizhou University (GZU) set off for Beijing to attend the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The delegation was headed by Song Bao'an, NPC representative, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and GZU president. Joining him were Chen Qianlin, director of the Advanced Technology Institute; Cui Haiyang, director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Department; and Jiang Yang, dean of the School of Physics. The last three are all members of China’s democratic parties.
