Recently, the Big Data-Driven Regional Governance Team, led by the Public Big Data National Key Laboratory of Guizhou University, was selected as a 2023 decision-making consultation expert team by the China Association for Science and Technology. This team is the only decision-making consultation expert team in Guizhou Province since the China Association for Science and Technology started constructing such teams.
The team consists of 20 experts from 11 enterprises and institutions, including Guizhou University, subordinate institutions of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National University of Defense Technology, Fudan University, Sichuan University, Wuhan University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Yunshang Guizhou Big Data Industry Development Co., Ltd., the National Engineering Research Center for Big Data Technology and Application in Enhancing Governmental Governance Capability, and Guizhou Provincial Data Circulation and Transaction Service Center. Li Shaobo, Director of the Public Big Data National Key Laboratory of GZU, and Gu Tian’an, Researcher at the Development Research Center of the State Council, serve as the chief experts of the team.
The team will deeply implement the national major strategic deployment in public data opening and sharing, development and utilization, and authorized operation. Focusing on the key tasks of public big data governance and regional governance, the team will delve into the potential value of public data, accelerate the process of data segmentation and categorization, and provide data-driven decision-making references and intellectual support for the formulation and implementation of major strategies related to coordinated regional development and modernization of regional governance capabilities.
