On September 18th, Vice President Scott C. Billingsley and his delegation from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke visited Guizhou University (GZU). An exchange meeting was held on the West Campus. GZU Vice President Zhou Shaoqi was present at the meeting, along with representatives from Office of Academic Affairs, Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, the Graduate School, College of Big Data and Information Engineering, and College of Foreign Languages.
GZU Vice President Zhou Shaoqi extended a warm welcome to Billingsley and his team, providing a comprehensive overview of GZU's founding principles, campus culture, and international educational endeavors. Zhou expressed a strong desire to establish a robust academic exchange and collaboration framework between the two institutions. He emphasized the need to enhance cooperation, broaden the spectrum of collaborative efforts, and lay a solid foundation for future deepening of mutual ties.
In response, Billingsley expressed his optimism for future collaborations, including the initiation of faculty and student exchange programs between the two universities, with the aim of fostering mutual growth and shared benefits.
