On August 24th, the results of the 2023 National Natural Science Foundation application review were announced. Guizhou University was granted 182 National Natural Science Foundation projects, including 1 key project, 14 general projects, 36 young scientist projects, 130 regional projects, and 1 special project. The total direct funding reaches 61.64 million yuan. This is a remarkable achievement. Academician Song Bao'an, President of Guizhou University obtained his third key project from the National Natural Science Foundation. The approved projects cover seven disciplines, including mathematical and physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, earth sciences, engineering and materials sciences, information sciences, and management sciences.
