Guizhou University (GZU) has been honored with the National Teaching Achievement Award in the recently announced 2022 winners by the Ministry of Education. The project, led by GZU president Song Bao'an and titled "Construction and Practice of Talent Cultivation Model in Plant Protection Major with the Integration of Agricultural and Biochemical Intersections, and of Production, Education, and Research", has been awarded the second prize in the 2022 Higher Education National Teaching Achievement (Undergraduate category).
