On the afternoon of July 2nd, a symposium between Guizhou University and East China Normal University was held. Zhan Yong, Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Guizhou Province, Zhou Aoying, Vice President of East China Normal University, Wu Pan, Vice President of GZU, and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting. Zhang Dalin, Vice President of GZU chaired the meeting.

In his speech, Zhan Yong emphasized that Guizhou, taking advantage of the development of Gui’an New Area in the course of its development, continuously attracts more high-end platforms to come to Guizhou. With a profound significance, the cooperation between Guizhou University and East China Normal University is leading and promoting the development of Guizhou’s big data industry. He hoped that the two universities would strengthen cooperation, achieve mutual benefits, and lay a solid foundation for the development of Guizhou’s digital economy

Zhou Aoying pointed out that the development of Guizhou’s digital education economy requires the development of new technologies and ecosystems to promote the digital transformation of education. East China Normal University will take this exchange as an opportunity to further its cooperation with Guizhou University by focusing on high-quality technology and strengthening the cultivation of digital talent, so as to better play its role in serving society and the people.

During the meeting, Li Shaobo, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Public Big Data, introduced the laboratory’s basic situation and their plans for future work. Participants had discussions on talent cultivation, enterprise development and industrial cooperation.
