On Feb. 23, Dai Ningzhi,Consul General of the Consulate General of France in Chengdu and his delegation visited GZU. Zhang Dalin, vice president of Guizhou University attended the meeting. The participants also included leaders from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, College of Foreign Languages, College of Tourism and Cultural Industries, College of Computer Science and Technology, College of International Education and teacher representatives.
Zhang Dalin welcomed Dai and his delegation. Zhangmade a brief introductionto GZU. He said that GZU attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and maintained long-term cooperation with French universities. He hoped that both sides would further strengthen cooperation, expand cooperation channels, and promote common development.
Dai expressed his gratitude to GZU for its warm reception. Despite the impact of the COVID-19 on the cooperation between China and France in the field of higher educationin the past three years, he hoped that this visit would be an opportunity to re-establish contacts, strengthen communication and enhance exchange and cooperation between China and France inhigher education.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on talent cultivation, scientific research and cultural exchanges.
After the meeting, Dai and his delegation also visited the Chinese Culture Institute.
