On October 13, Luo Changjiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of GZU, inspected the progress of Boxue Program (a program to enhance students’ ability and quality) in Academic Year 2022-2023 in the College of Big Data and Information Engineering, College of Economics, College of Philosophy and Social Development and College of Literature and Media. He also checked up on campus security and epidemic prevention and control.
Luo was briefed about students’ registration for the national post-graduate entrance examination, the supporting measures that the colleges have taken, and the courses offered by the program and number of students taking the courses. Afterwards, he visited the study rooms and encouraged the students to work hard.
Luo emphasized the significance of Boxue Program in creating positive learning atmosphere and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation. College leaders should recognize its importance, motivate students to study further and provide supports accordingly, he said.
Meanwhile, Luo stressed the work to be done in the near future—campus security, pandemic prevention and control and talent cultivation—in light with the guiding principles from the 20th CPC National Congress and the seventh plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
