Recently, the Youth Development Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League issued the "Announcement of the Results of the 2022 National Summer Cultural, Scientific and Healthy Social Practice Activities of College and University Volunteers " in recognition of the rewards for excellent groups, individuals, and projects in 2022 "Sanxiaxiang" social practice activities. Honorably, the youth league committee of our school gained the reward of excellent unit.
Following the requirement of the Notice of the Central Committee of the Youth League and the plan of GZU, a total of 240 teams were formed in the activity of “Sanxiaxiang” in 2022, including 48 national-level teams, 90 provincial-level teams and 102 university-level teams, covering undergraduate, master and doctoral students as well as teachers and experts and scholars, with a total of more than 3,600 people going to the fields, enterprises and communities to help revitalize the countryside.
In practicing this year’s social activities, the GZU integrated the “Challenge Cup” College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition with “Sanxiaxiang” by starting special projects for the competition. Through this, GZU saw that it would cultivate students' scientific research interests and abilities, guide them to combine professional knowledge with social practice, and transform the outcome of these activities into works for competitions, thus mobilizing students’ initiatives to participate in entrepreneurship competitions.
In recent years, the Youth League Committee of Guizhou University has been working on the establishment of a result-oriented project evaluation system to mobilize students’ initiatives in social activities, in which young people of Guizhou University could enrich their experiences, improve their ability, become judicious and make contributions to the society. The students were required to follow the Party and its guidance, aim high but stay grounded, and dare to think big and take action, contributing their parts to realizing the second centennial goal. For all the social activities, they must include their "small" dreams into the "big" picture by contributing to society, devoting themselves to their hometown, and serving the people. And they are hoped to love the Party and the country and showcase enthusiasm for building their hometown through working on the ground and helping the rural revitalization.
