According to the General Office of the Ministry of Education, the innovation and entrepreneurship education practice base jointly applied by GZU Academic Affairs Office, Engineering Training Center and the National University Science and Technology Park was listed as one of national-level bases, achieving a breakthrough for GZU in this regard.This is the first time for the Ministry of Education to launch the program of building national-level practice bases for innovation and entrepreneurship education. Since its launch in June, it has gone through several procedures including application by colleges and universities, expert evaluation, publicity by the provincial education department, and review by the Ministry of Education. Finally, 100 bases of colleges and universities were listed as national-level bases.
The Ministry of Education, guided by the “Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Supporting College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, launched the program to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education and strengthen the cultivation of talents with innovative capacity and entrepreneurship.
The target of the bases is to build regional demonstration base for cultivating talent with innovation and entrepreneurship by taking the following measures: integrating practice resources of universities and the society; cultivating college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship; screening, cultivating and incubating innovation and entrepreneurship projects, etc.
