On April 16th, Dr. Supat, the Academic President of Krirk University in Thailand, visited GZU with his delegation. The two universities held a talk and exchanged views in Room 216, Xianzheng Building on West Campus. Deng Chaoyong, Vice President of GZU, attended the meeting. Also joining the talk and discussion were key personnel from the Office of Teacher Affairs, Graduate School, the Office of International Relations, the College of Management, the College of Public Administration, and the College of International Education.
Deng Chaoyong made a welcome speech and then briefly introduced GZU’s latest major achievements, highlighting the training projects for teachers and students, Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, and the promotion of Confucius Academy. He hopes that the two universities will seekfurther exchange and cooperation, carry out more substantial cooperation, and promote mutualdevelopment.
In his speech, Dr. Supat noted that the twouniversities can complement each other in many ways, as they both enjoy a long history of progress. Krirk University, committed to international cooperation in running schools, boasts unique advantages in cultural and educational disciplines, business in particular. He hopes the two universities will seek common development while scaling up cooperation between them.
At the meeting, participants from the two universitieshad in-depth discussions and exchanged perspectives on running cooperative programs and providing professional training forfaculty members.
GZU visited the University of Krirkin Thailand when traveling with the delegation of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Political Consultative Conference in 2018.
Krirk University was founded in 1952 by Dr. Krirk Manglabruk, a renowned educator both in Thailand and abroad. It is the earliest and oldest private university in Thailand, and the only private university in Thailand providing quality political scienceprograms.
